I’m over-the-moon excited to announce that Un’Americana in Cucina has won the 2018 Cucina Blog Award by Corriere della Sera for Best Food Writing!
I would like to thank all of you for voting for me, but mostly for following me, for reading my words and preparing my recipes over all these years. This blog would be nothing without you, without your constant encouragement and constructive feedback.
And of course, thank you to my husband Emilio Scoti, my not-so-silent partner in this endeavor. He rigorously translates the anecdotal parts of my posts with a voice that’s truer than true to my own, and takes all the beautiful, delicious food pictures you see on the site.

They are both beautiful and inspiring blogs that I personally love to read. The only downside to my winning this award is the fact that they didn’t, because they both certainly deserve it.
